KNIGHTS’ QUIZ 3rd MAY

Another excellent quiz tonight thanks the Mike Delaney’s great questions. A very tight contest indeed with only a few points in it among the five teams! Thank you everybody who came and especially to the team having their first go at the quiz. The next quiz will be in 2 weeks time on 17th May when we have a new quizmaster, Dan Hughes, making his debut. We hope to see you there!

Knights’ Quiz Thank You

A big thank you to everyone who came and supported the Knights’ quiz in the Sports Club last nigh. Wednesday 8 March. . We were slightly fewer in numbers than usual, but Linda gave us an excellent quiz and I think every one had a good time.

Thank you too for everyone who had a go at the Guess the Steps competition.. For those readers who do not know about it, a group of Knights will be walking the Two Moors Way from Morchard Bishop to Witheridge, 7.5 miles, on 9 Apr. If you can guess how many steps that is, you can win £50. If no one guesses correctly, the nearest guess wins £25. There will be entry forms and collecting pots in the shops, pubs and café, so have a go. Look out for the green pot. We are raising money for community events such as the Coronation Party.

The next quiz will be in the Sports Club on 22 Mar when Mike and June Turner will be setting the questions. We look forward to seeing you there
